Desert habitats

Our cacti and owls. The horned owl can hear a mouse 100 yards away, it eats 250 different types of animals and it nests in cacti to keep itself safe. All these adaptations help it survive in the desert. The cactus stores water and has very sharp thin leaves that protect it as well as reduce evaporation.

We got our super cool templates for this project from http://www.dragonfliesinfirst.com
