Making clay birds

We are learning about native birds. 

We made some bakers clay so that we could mould it into the shape of a bird.  We are going to make fantails. We worked together mixing and kneeling.

We used some of our measurement knowledge to make the recipe.

We made our bird shapes and then we cooked them.  We have painted out birds and the next step is to make a fan tail to glue on.  Watch this space...
